Graffetta Syrah 750ml

Details

Slightly inclined and halfway between Noto and Modica, the South oriented vineyards of Contrada Graffetta belong to the municipality of Ispica (Ragusa). The vineyards face the Mediterranean, stretching out over the sea from those chalky grounds that distinguish thefirst spurs of the Iblei Mounts. The climate, warm, dry, with a constant breeze, together with the sea-mitigated temperature, turn this territory into the natural and always retained optimal production area for winemaking grape varieties. In addition to the area's nativegrape variety (Nero d'Avola) the great potential of the territory gets its highest expression through the Syrah, where the minerality of the soil enhances the concentration and the fruit.TASTING NOTES:Deep dark red colour; rich and complex aroma with notes of black pepper and nutmeg. In the mouth it displays a rich andvarietal-bound taste.SERVING SUGGESTIONS: To be served to game, roast and sheep-cheese.SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16C production area for winemaking grape varieties.
