Neethlingshof Stellenbosch Shiraz

Neethlingshof is located in the heart of the Cape Winelands. The farm lies between the Bottelary Hills and Papegaaiberg Mountain near Stellenbosch, overlooking False Bay. This historic farm offers not only breathtaking scenery, but also a glimpse of traditional Cape culture mixed with African and European influences. The estate thrives on a privileged site, with natural conditions, soils, slopes, elevations and climate that are ideal for producing a variety of great wines.

Colour : Deep ruby
Nose : Floral and vibrant on the nose, with aromas of ripe red apple, black plum and hints of fynbos, lavender and white pepper.
Palate : Fruit forward, medium to full-bodied wine with a flavour profile of black cherry, black plum, liquorish and white pepper with a touch of cloves from the oak.
Recommendations : Excellent enjoyed on its own or served with red meat such as game, veal and biltong. Also superb with Mediterranean salads and soft cheeses.
