Neethlingshof Stellenbosch Pinotage

Neethlingshof is located in the heart of the Cape Winelands. The farm lies between the Bottelary Hills and Papegaaiberg Mountain near Stellenbosch, overlooking False Bay. This historic farm offers not only breathtaking scenery, but also a glimpse of traditional Cape culture mixed with African and European influences. The estate thrives on a privileged site, with natural conditions, soils, slopes, elevations and climate that are ideal for producing a variety of great wines.

Colour : Deep Ruby
Nose : Aromas of ripe red plum and black cherry with an undertone of cloves and a subtle smokiness.
Palate : Full-bodied wine with a powerful upfront drinkability and flavours of black cherry, dates, black tea with a well textured mouthfeel and rich tannins.

Recommendations : Excellent served with red meat dishes and vegetables topped with flavorful sauces such a teriyaki, plum or barbecue sauce. Also pairs well with roasts, beetroot salads, rich cheeses or dark chocolate.
