Vineyards
A dry summer and warm temperatures early in the growing season lead to early veraison and extended flavor development throughout the Central Coast. Warmer climates in Paso Robles, San Antonio Valley and Hames Valley produced fragrant red and black fruit aromas in their Cabernets, while cooler
vineyards in Arroyo Seco yielded vibrant acidity and developed luscious textures.
Tasting Notes
Fragrantly aromatic and structured on the palate, this wine balances initial scents of plum and cherry with undertones of cacao and vanilla. Building tannins crest on the mid-palate, supported by flavors of
boysenberry and cassis.
The broad mouthfeel and robust flavors are the perfect complement to hearty beef or game dishes or a gourmet bacon cheeseburger.
